She was born dead, as the doctors found no pulse in her heart. Something eerie happened during this short time, just before the doctors managed to fix her heartbeat. The course of her life changed… for the worse. After several near-death experiences, Jane starts to suspect that her bad luck is no coincidence.
The Twisted Ones by Scott Cawthon is a gripping horror novel that follows the story of Charlotte, the daughter of the protagonist from the previous book, The Silver Eyes. After inheriting her late father's estate, she reluctantly returns to her childhood town, haunted by memories of terrifying animatronic creatures from her father's past.

The Weight of Blood by Tiffany Jackson is a teen fiction. The book is inspired by Carrie and the segregated proms happening in Georgia that came to large public light in 2014. It follows Maddy Washington and her classmates at Springville High and their roles on prom night. I really loved this book. The plot it follows and discusses I found to be really educational and entertaining.

Antarctic and is centered around a research team who come in contact with
a shapeshifting, otherworldly monster. A group consisting of five
